This is an odd and rather contradictory question. I like fall out boy. I dont like MCR and the teenagers song got annoying after hearing it 2 times.

I dont think fob is being overlooked, i mean their album has realeased what, like 5 singles at this point and is one of the most successful of the year.
its just music taste. i personally prefer my chemical romance, but both of the bands have gone in completely different directions from their first album, that if when they started they were in the same genre, they arent in the same genre anymore.

Umm… I’m not sure, but don’t be hating on either sides, I’m on a neutrality here. Yes, I love Fall Out Boy, some of their songs (sugar, for sure!!!) are awesome. But My Chemical Romance is pretty okay, I loved Teenagers, before the music video came out (wth was up with them stealing from Nirvana?) but I think one of their really good songs is Helena. I’m Not Okay is the one that gets annoying after a while. But check it out, it seems like a good song. Teenagers alone is pretty fun for parties tho!!! Good luck searching….

I love both bands to be completely honest. I have a diehard obsession for Fall Out Boy and Green Day, I have only heard 5-10 MCR songs but I like them. I think people have the right to express their opinion but it is rude to bash them like the good example you posted. No one hate me for my answer, this is my opinion! Have a great day!

Sorry, but I’m a FOB & MCR fan. And actually I really hate MCR’s Teenagers. I hated it before I saw the video, I had the cd. Their better stuff is “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge” cd & B-Sides.

They’re both whiney bands but the old MCR stuff are actually good, now they’re just… bad. FOB is slightly less .. whiney but if you compare them to old MCR, well you’d know why people like MCR more… least their old stuff.
